Working with AI agents can feel magical. It’s totally understandable the hype around the new technology.

This morning I was developing a feature for an app I maintain for Ubuntu Touch while in the gym, by speaking plain English with my computer over Telegram. This level of abstraction was unthinkable 2 years ago, so it feels magical for sure.

It enables decision makers and PMs to prototype and do “development” without deep coding knowledge. They will be pumped.

We can discuss if those tools are really worth it, with the overall decrease of code quality around the industry (see Amazon and GitHub uptimes as an example) without a verified increase in productivity. But hype does not care about data, and those tools nailed the UX for both developers and non developers.
